EVO-one is not going to programming mode

0 votes

Hi,

Im having trouble getting Evo-one to go pairing/programming mode to re add Omegalink remote which stopped working. It worked beginning of the year, but not anymore.

What I have tried:

Valet Switch

  1. Ign on. Hold valet switch until red led flashes
  2. Press 5x. Led flashes everytime
  3. Press 1x brake pedal. Led flashes once
As i understand from the instruction, it should start to flash again to be in pairing mode. But it just flashes once from pushing pedal.
Brake pedal
Used it to set up system beginning of the year and all worked. Now doesnt do anything. Actually using brake pedal when setting up Omega antenna also flashed as I pushed the pedals.
Can you please help me with the next course of action. Right now system is not working for me as oem remote does not reach my car.
Just fyi
  • I did change settings on tack time because with cold weather my car wouldnt start
  • For omega correct firmware 0.44 is on Evo

Please do the following.

  • Flash 1.26
  • Reset the remote starter side (this will NOT affect the bypass, no need to reprogram unit to car)
  • Flash 0.44
  • Reprogram remotes

Reseting the RS side can be found here: https://cdn.fortin.ca/en/download/61941/61941.pdf

That reset will clear all remote starter side options back to default, clear the rf protocol, and wipe exisiting programmed remotes.

Didnt work. Last step, holding valet switch for 5 seconds doesnt make the LED flashing.

Also OEM remote is not working anymore.

Maybe I should just reset it and start over it again, as it worked before`?
If the evo-one is in an armed state, it will not allow doing a reset (or programming remotes). To disarm it, turn ignition on and press the valet button 3 times. This will disarm the system.
Hi,

It is disarmed. Led is off. It reacts to all the steps, led flashes 1x, but the final step wont make it stay flashing and go to programming mode.
