SIERRA 2011 EVO-ALL THAR-GM2

Question

Hi there, the car is not starting untill i put the key closer to the key celinder

using stand alone EVO-ALL THAR-GM2 3X lock

in the user manual its mentioned to connect only 20 pin (White),5 pin (White). But what about 6 PIN (RED)? No need to be connected? what im doing wrong ? also try using the TB-GM2 but not workig. but its not mandator

Hello Ara,

 

First off, make sure you are following the right installation guide with the right programming. We released a new plan and THarness 2 or 3 weeks (THAR-GM4). It is a completely different install and programming. Do not mix them up. The THAR-GM2 install requires the TB-GM2. 

 

That said, this is the install guide for the THAR-GM2 with TB-GM2 : EVO-ALL & THAR-GM2 (T-Harness) - Revision 20130115

Hi Robert, thanx for your comment. yes I saw the th gm4 harness and I didn't mix up with. if you see the guide and here in the faqs there is several comments regarding that no need to use the tb-gm if the vehicle is used frecuently. that why my question. I've. tried to programming the tb-gm following the steps but nothing happened. if you see previous comments related to the th-gm2 harness appreciate it. thanx

The standalone install requires the use of the TB-GM2. Using the THAR-GM2, you would also need to use the TB-GM2 because of who the wiring is done in the harness. The wirint without TB-GM2 i completely different.

 

If you would like to not use the TB-GM2 and have stand alone, use the new guide with firmware 70.16  (without Thar-GM4) : STAND ALONE EVO-ALL & GM PK3 - Revision 20140923

Thank you Rober, Finally I did it using the  THAR-GM2 with  TB-GM2,. I asked somebody help to remote start the car while I put the  TB-GM2, need to do it faster than flash man. The only issue now is after remore start the car and stop it the vehicle signal lights on the panel remain on, which is the reason of that and how could I fix it, I connect the parking light to the pin24 as described, but nothing happen and remain on, only after open the door will turn off. By remote starting the car with the factory remote start the lights on the panel remain off but with 3X lock not. Appreciate your help

The vehicles RAP is doing what it supposed to be doing actually. The lights will time out after a minute i think. You may need to enable the lock after option in the EVO-ALL.

Yes the 6 pin red connector need to be connected to your EVOALL. I strongly recommend the use of the TB-GM2.
