2013 Mazda CX-5 programming issue

Difficulty programming unit.  First had issues getting the module to learn the keys but realized I had low voltage.  Charged battery and went through all steps up to 25 (towards end of CAN programming). At the end of sequence I received the blue light and it went off, then waited about a minute or longer, but never received the red LED.  I've been through all steps including 1-12 and starting at 17, 18 and 21 but without success, have reset and resent data, but usually only receive flashing red.  How can I completely start over as the unit seems not to fully reset after master reset and only get flashing red after going through 1-12 again.  What process where should I start?  Thanks.

What is the service number to the module?

Service number is:  003606 002821

I also read another thread that suggested doing a master reset, then resenting data and start back at the CAN programming.  I went back last night to get service number and tried this however no luck, actually now when sending data to the dcryptor I get a data incomplete message.  I tried resetting module and going through steps 1-12 again and it all goes fine except get flashing red instead of yellow/red.  Seems the more I do the worse or further back I get.  The few connections that were made (outside of T-harness) were done with stripping wires and soldering so connections should be good.  I used to install remote starts years ago and the install hasn't been difficult but the programming has been frustrating.
Perform a master reset of the evo as shwon here: http://wirecolor.com/en/qa/50193/faq-how-do-i-reset-my-evo-all?show=50193#q50193

Remove the batteries from the remotes.

Start programming over from step 1.
I did exactly that based on another reply I read last night.  Did the master reset, released on red, then held down until all lights alternating.  Also did with batteries out of keys.  Started back at Step One and everything went fine until the end when instead of yellow / red alternating, was just red flashing.  Went to dcryptor to resend data and it gave me error of data incomplete.  Did this multiple times with multiple resets and mostly with batteries out of keys.  Then even again with batteries back in keys.  All I ever got was flashing red and each time retried sending data through dcryptor, got the incomplete data error.

Anything else to try?

Thanks for the quick responses.
If red is flashing the module has been locked out due to the programming having already been done/messed up.

At this point you are best to start over with a new evo.
So it can't be completely reset (other than the master reset procedure) or flashed/reset in someway trhough the flash link?  This is/was a new EVO when I started, do I need to return for another unit (through vendor or Fortin direct?
You can try to exchange it from the point of purchase.

The problem is that you had already programmed the module to the car's bcm and then tried to re teach the same module again. Once the module is learned if you try to relearn it you lock it out. So the issue is from not properly programming the unit as described in the guide.
Again, thank you for the quick responses.

I followed the guide very closely and made it so step 25, received the blue flash but never the red flash confirmation.  Again while maybe a few years out of practice this wasn't my first remote start install.

I would think there is a capability (or programming opportunity) that since you have to connect the module to the flash link and use the dcryptor software with online connection, that you'd be able to flash reset it or reprogram as a new module... maybe next version.  Very disappointing to have to swap the module out for programming issues.

Thanks
