Does 2012 Toyota Avalon PTS use 3X lock or need RF kit?

I normally use a Crimestopper RS4-G5 with EVO-ALL but this Avalon has the intelligent key with PTS.  Will it use 3X lock or will I need to buy an RF kit?  Not really wanting to carry two fobs.

You can do whatever you want on this car. 3xlock... rf-kit... both..

Your link is for a 2015...my car is a 2012.  Still the same?  Can use 3xlock with EVO-ONE?

2012 will be rf kit only. Does not work with OEM remote.

If it is started with an rf kit remote how does the cross over to the proximity key work? I found something in the instructions about the car shutting off once the door is opened on Toyotas.  So does the rf kit remote start the car then it unlocks with the proximity key and shuts off as soon as you open the door?  Then you restart and drive as normal with the proximitiy key?
