no parking lights

Question

when i start car with ignintion switch parking lights work. when i do through the remote start i get no parking lights. i reflashed multiple times

Hello,

In that case you will need to hardwire the parking light wire and cut open the auto light circuit to get parking lights when remote started.

 

You can use the white/red and white/green wires from the red 6 pin connector of the evo to open the autolight circuit.

Then use the pink wire from the 20 pin connector of the evo to hardwire the parking light wire.

Vehicle info:

- Parking lights: located at white 40 pin connector located on bottom of steering column, Green wire, Pin 3.

- Auto lights shutdown (cut): located at white 40 pin connector located on bottom of steering column, Yellow wire, Pin 5.

Sheesh was hoping to just be a wrong setting. I think for now ill leave.it no parking lights atleast till we get some warm weather and have more time

To to be clear i tap parking lights with pink wire  and  red/white and green/white to auto lights circuit.

Still dont know why others just plug and play and it just works as intended

Yes you would need to manually splice into the vehicles factory wiring for the parking light wire and then physically cut the auto light wire.
