2014 accord sport evo-one

+1 vote
I've installed the evo one, thar-one-hon2 and revo-4 antenna kit. My question... Can the rear defrost be activated without any additional wiring through the revo remote and canbus? If not what wiring will need to be completed? I was also never able to get the factory key fob to work. I have oem remote monitoring enabled as well as the lock unlock lock option. Both the factory fob and revo fobs worked on the wife's Crv. Everything functions great from the revo fobs. What am I missing on the accord for the factory fobs?

For working off the factory remote....

  • If I look at your options in the EVO-ONE bypass side (002b02011801) I don't see why you should need to enable B2.
  • If I look at your options in the EVO-ONE remote starter side option (002b05011801), I don't see any options because the options tab in the flash-link manager was never actually opened. You need to enable option 38.2.
  • The blue LED should also be flashing on lock or unlock presses. This confirms that the remote are actually on the Can-Bus for the EVO-ONE to detect.

For the rear defrost, you will need to go directly to the switch. I don;t have the information for what needs to be powered and what polarity it uses.

I will double check again but I'm pretty sure I enabled 38.2. It's receiving inputs for sure. Like I said the revo-4 fobs function fine. im not sure why b2 is enabled. I will have to change that too
Found out tonight the lock, unlock, lock will not work on the accord like it does on the crv. It does however work on 3x lock. All the correct options were on.
Thanks for the input I will look into the lock-unlock-lock problem.
Thanks! Otherwise the evo works great. I don't use the factory fob much anyway. The revo-4 Rf kit remote is what I mainly use. I do like the factory option though. Just the 3x lock will honk the horn after the second press is why Id like to use lock unlock lock.
Okay, I found the rear defrost wire location and polarity. White 28 pin plug under fuse panel pin 11 brown wire (-) latched input. My question now what wire from the evo_one would I use to activate it using aux-1 from the revo remotes? Is it yellow black wire from the 20pin labeled trunk release? What options do I set as well with the flash link ?

Also why don't my options show up on here when I check by the service number? I know they are there because everything functions ..
Options will not show up if using the offline menu, they only show up when using the Options tab which is online (it allows to update our servers). The online options for the hardware 5 of the EVO-ONE is currently unavailable (remote starter side options)

The trunk ouput is a pulse. If you need latched, you can grab the (-)ignition output of the EVO-ONE, green wire in the 20-pin.
Will I need any options enabled for this to be aux 1 from the remote?
