no yellow light on unit

0 votes
HI I installed a evo-one in my 2008 sienna and also installed a separate rf unit but it still isn't working. I have noticed that I do not get a yellow light with the ignition is turned to on. I do have 12 volts on the yellow wire of the 20 pin connector and i verified pink has 12v and black is ground. Is there anything on the program that may be the cause? I am assuming the yellow light comes on when the ignitoin is in run is this correct: Could I have a bad unit?

Thank you for your help

Did the module program correctly?

Also you have configured the options on the bypass incorrectly.

Please turn on options A1 through A11 and then click on save options.

Did you cut the yellow loop on the module? (for automatic transmission vehicles)

What do the led's on the module do when you try and remote start the vehicle?

A1-11 are turned on B1-D6 are off. yellow wire is cut. I get no lights when I auto start. I don't get any lights when car is running and when antenna is plugged in i get the blue light on the antenna for about a second only. When i hold the program button and connect 6 wire connector it cycles through the LEDs and seems to accept the key when i insert it the red LED flashes and then goes out. On the remote side I have 2.1, tach set to 1, 4.1, 6.1, 6.3, 7.1, 8.1, 9.1, 11.1, 12.1, 13.1, 14.1, 15.1, 16.1, 18.1, 19.1, 20.2, 21.1, 24.1, 25.1, 26.1, 29.1, 30.1, 31.1, 32.1, 33.1, 34.1, 35.1, 37.1, 38.1, 39.1

I feel like the unit is not powering on in the vehicle, should one of the LEDs be on?
Did you program the rf kit to the module? If so, how?

If no lights are turning on on the evo then either the module did not program correctly or its not receiving a start command from the rf kit...

When you initiate a remote start the red led should turn on followed by the yellow and the blue will begin to flash...
