2016 vera note standard key. I dont have the transponder connector in the location it says. Has one thick black cable in that location. Is there another spot to get the rx and tx wires? Thanks.

Most of the versas do not have an immobilizer if it is a standard key.

Running into this same issue. Wired everything up but can't program properly. Evo-One is waiting for key turn to run but doesn't recognize or change LED colors from solid yellow to solid yellow & solid red. How do you program when transponder isn't available? I connected the Evo-One up to flash settings and turned off transponder thinking that would help, but getting the same results.

Is the vehicle equipped with transponder or not ? If it is equipped with transponder do not turn off key bypass option.
The one I'm working on does not have a transponder. Turned off the bypass in settings and programmed with the blue LED vs yellow as instructions state. I'm closer but having issues with the car. Currently I'm only getting crank, no start.
Does it remote start with the key in the barrel? Activate the remote starter then stick the key in the barrel.

If it starts = car has an immo

If it does not start, check ignition/acc/start connections along with how function 2.X is set in the evo-one. (if its an evo-one)
