2017 Outback Doors won't lock after start up

0 votes
I just finished installing an EVO ONE on a 2017 Subaru Outback Premium. Followed the install guide #57221 (pg 5). Also using the SUB T-Harness to the ignition. I went through and verified all wiring connections per the guide aswell. 3x lock start up works fine, FOB responds to button presses as expected, and I have unlock / lock car option selected to bypass factory security. Pressing foot pedal also shuts the car down. I'm using most up to date firmware across the board.

The problem I am having is the doors do not lock once the car is started via remote start. I can still lock / unlock them from the remote. The EVO is also configured to lock the doors once the 15 minute runtimer is exceeded, but doesn't lock them in this instance either which obviously isn;t good if the remote start is triggered accidently. I have tried almost all combinations of lock / Unlock commands I can think of in the Flash LInk Manager menus, but nothing seems to work.

One thing Ive noticed that seems odd is the security light looks like its faintly ( barely on). When I unlock the car, the security light will blink as if its been locked (is this normal, never noticed it before. Key proximity sensor?). Not sure this is related but thought I'd mention it.

Any ideas what could be up?

I stumbled across this post https://fortin.ca/en/qa/82316/evo-one-not-locking-after-remote-start-2015-subaru-legacy-standard-key which fixed my issue. Car will now lock once vehicle is remote started and will remain lock once 15 min run timer is complete.

The fix: Connected purple wire (2) on Evo One white 20 pin connector to brown / white wire (pin 32) on 40 pin connector (behind fuse box) in vehicle.

Thanks !
