2018 Honda Ridgeline crank, no start? Evo one.

Question

I installed the Evo one, with the Hon8 T harness, programmed it exactly as it says to 73.38, settings as it says in the manual. It cranks for about 5-10 seconds but won’t start. Also my 2018 Honda Ridgeline doesn’t have the shift lock, gray plug as in the wiring harness manual. Not sure what’s going on?

When the vehicle did not start did the key symbol flash on the dashboard?

I am installed it in my 2020 ridgeline and I am trying to locate that gray plug too.

I wasn’t paying attention to that but I’m pretty sure it did. I finally gave up.

They don’t all have them I learned. I was thinking that was the problem but it does crank but not start. I did it exactly step by step in every way. I’m just going to bring it and have a Compustar one installed. I give up on this one. Or just use the OEM start system.
