That service number is the Flash-Link Udpater service number. The EVO-ALL number starts with 001a06------

Do not turn on B2. You do not need to enable any options if using the W2W method. Just cut the blue and white wires in the 4-pin black datalink connector and BOOM, you are in wire-2-wire mode. B2 forces the EVO in special datalink stand alone remote starter mode. The 20-pin inputs and outputs will not be functional anymore if you enable B2. It's only to be used if stated in teh install guide to enable B2.

If you want to restore your options back to default, either turn anything you turned On to Off or do a master reset. Master reset with reset the options and also erase any previous programming to the vehicle.

  1. Hold down programming button while plugging in datalink connector.
  2. Let go of button when LED is RED.
  3. Push and hold button again until all three LEDs start to alternate.
  4. Disconnect unit, she is now reset.
